This area is famous for its fishing, where you can try your luck on the River Blackwater at Verner’s Bridge or Bawn’s Bridge, both approximately half a mile away.

Lovers of the countryside and fishing enthusiastics can visit Parkanaur Forest Park, Peatrlands Park, Drummanor Forest Park, Dungannon Park and lake and the Round Lake at Fivemiletown.

Perhaps a round of golf is more to your liking? For  a relaxing game why not go along to Dungannon Golf Club situated at Mullaghmore on the Donaghmore Road. Facilities include an excellent 18 hole course and clubhouse with Restaurant. Or even try Loughgall Golf Club situated only 10 miles away.
